“This event is a chance to connect with people experiencing homelessness who may not otherwise seek out assistance. It is a chance to introduce ourselves to them and help them get on a path to housing.”
– Sunny Wonder, CFTH Diversion Supervisor
The Point In Time Count happens the same day as Project Homeless Connect. Council for the Homeless coordinates outreach teams who divide Clark County into counting zones. The teams locate people who are living outside or in their cars, conduct a survey, and invite them to Project Homeless Connect. This annual count provides a snapshot of homelessness in Clark County and connects people to services. For questions about the Point In Time Count please contact Dale Whitley.
