2022 ANNUAL FUNDRAISING LUNCHEON
Keynote Speaker: Gregg Colburn
(he/him), PhD, MBA, MSW — assistant professor of real estate
in the University of Washington’s College of Built Environments
Keynote speaker Gregg Colburn is an assistant professor of real estate in the University of Washington’s College of Built Environments. During his time in Washington, Gregg has worked to maintain active research focused on housing policy, housing markets and affordability, and homelessness. In his recent book, Homelessness Is a Housing Problem, Gregg discusses this research, which he maintains answers the question: “Why do rates of homelessness vary so widely throughout the U.S.?”
Before entering academia, Gregg spent the first 17 years of his professional life in the private sector. He attended the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs, where he received his PhD. Gregg’s additional academic training includes an MSW from the University of Minnesota, an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a BA in Economics and Management from Albion College.
Please join us in welcoming Gregg Colburn as we learn more about how homelessness is a housing problem.
