Thank you to everyone in our community who is being mindful of the continuously evolving COVID-19 coronavirus situation. Council for the Homeless is following the recommendations of Clark County Public Health and the Washington State Department of Health.
The Housing Solutions Center is committed to remaining accessible to people in need of shelter and housing assistance. Please call the Housing Hotline (360) 695-9677 prior to visiting our Housing Solutions Center.
- The Housing Hotline is open regular hours, M-F 9:00am-8:30pm and weekends 11:00am-8:30pm.
- We are moving as many in-person interactions as possible to phone, text, and email.
- We continue to remain in contact with our housing and shelter partners who also remain open.
- We created a one-page resource to help people without homes manage during this time.
Enormous thanks to the year round shelters, Winter Hospitality Overflow (WHO), severe weather and day shelters in Clark County who are dedicated to providing much needed shelter to some of our most vulnerable neighbors. The shelter staff and incredible volunteers are working overtime keeping themselves and shelter guests safe from exposure to the COVID-19 virus by taking all public health identified precautions.
Additional thanks goes to our formidable local outreach teams who focus on people who are unsheltered in the community. This is a very difficult time for anyone without a safe space to isolate or quarantine. Outreach staff are sharing facts, resources, and a listening ear while striving to take necessary precautions.
How you can help:

Items may also be dropped off at local shelters, including the Share Fromhold Center, Open House Ministries, YWCA Clark County, and the Navigation Center. Please call the agency before you stop by to deliver items.
