The Homeless Action Plan Outcomes Report summarizes progress made on goals put forth in the Homeless Action Plan for the years 2019-2022. Goals include increasing the number of people who secure shelter when requested, housing people more quickly than in previous years, and meeting the need for additional interim housing.

State law requires communities that receive state homelessness funds to adopt a homeless action plan to prioritize, guide, and evaluate their community’s efforts to prevent and end homelessness. Council for the Homeless managed the community outreach and development of the 2019-2022 Homeless Action Plan. Thank you to community members, people with lived homelessness experience, social service providers, and local elected officials for input and assistance with the Clark County Homeless Action Plan. The Clark County Council adopted the plan on November 27, 2018.

Over 900 people provided input to the Plan. A clear majority selected this statement to describe the type of community in which they want to live: “I want to live in a community that helps people who are homeless move into housing.”
