What is the Continuum of Care?
The Clark County, WA, Continuum of Care is a countywide effort to prevent and end homelessness. The CoC is a local planning body that coordinates housing and services for families and individuals experiencing homelessness. The Clark County Continuum of Care is made up of over 100 people across eight regularly held meetings. It includes elected officials, housing and service providers, advocates, and people who’ve experienced homelessness. The governing body of the CoC is the CoC Steering Committee and the lead agency is Council for the Homeless.
