Are we able to meet the need for housing?
People experiencing homelessness in Clark County who are interested in accessing a housing program can receive a housing assessment through the Housing Solutions Center or another community partner. This housing assessment helps determine a household’s vulnerability, and that measure of vulnerability is used when placing households into housing programs. This ensures the most vulnerable households are able to access resources and that people are matched to the program that can best meet their needs. Households experiencing homelessness are triaged using an assessment because the overall housing need in the community is much higher than the capacity to meet the need.
This dashboard shows the number of assessments completed each month compared to the number of households that are able to enter a housing program each month.
